Street Savvy Delhi
This time when we reached India, it was so nice to find traffic little more organised (ya its true) i guess that was due to the wonderful flyovers that have been built all over in New Delhi. Also i observed few very nice changes which i am going to share here with u.
In India honking is a way of driving, u have to honk.If u have been in Delhi u know that as soon as the light turns green, all drivers become highly impatient and start honking even if the person in front of them is moving, to tell them not to honk i found this road sign which tells people not to honk in the region of 100 m from the street light.
Another interesting thing was the timer on the street light telling the impatient drivers how long they had to wait, hvnt seen this in any other country.
Well we also have lights for pedestrians in our capital now:-), though they were very few am sure the number wd increase soon.
n my my all Cars r available in India now, saw showrooms of Audi.guess what, in the newspaper in the advertisement of Audi, the number plate displays a car of Germany:-).
Another interesting thing was that nowadays loads of Tata automobiles r also being exported, many of them like Tata Indica can be found on streets in Istanbul.
