Weekend - Shivratri, Shifting n the Hotwheels Party!
We had a very busy n nice Weekend. On Friday the shivratri day, Manjunath, Abiraj, Prasad n Navratna (all bachelors) came over to our place for a surprise dinner.
On Saturday one of our fren's Reji n Sudip shifted completely in their new home,so went over to their place to help them with their stuff n then for the first get together at their place in the evening.
On Sunday we had organized a Hot wheels Party in the honor of Mallaika, The day began with cooking the entire stuff for lunch. All our frens came over by 1 pm, first we had some snacks, had lunch n then went out to open n drink Champagne in front of Mallaika. Some of the guests who had to finish work left after that. The others accompanied us for a long leisurely walk in the sunny Afternoon, with Abhilasha defining the weather as perfect Tom Sawyer kind of Weather, indeed it was so much fun walking around on the small paths up the tiny hillock in front of our home n enjoying the greenery. After that we came home n the party ended with a cup of tea.
The evening was spent in cleaning up and then as the weather was wonderful we went for a small drive. Wow - what bliss of having Mallaika- hope we just don't get spoiled soon n forget using the tram ....

Hey Nidhi...
wow Mallaika gets even almost more attention than a real baby ;) hehe..what will happen if that will happen ;) It seems your substitute family is still pretty big in Basel. Thats so nice to have friends around from the same background! I love your pics about the puja, and I cracked laughing at the fact that mallaika even got the bindhi(or how do you call this red thing on the forehead again?) Cool

oh I forgot, since you were so desperate about the cake, what if you take mallaika and show her the country north of Switzerland and come over for the real b-party? Its on the 3rd and there will also be a lot of Indians ;) Noopur+vivek, kamal(dont know if u know him), priya :)...so it would be awesome!
You will not even broaden mallaikas horizon but yours as well, when it comes to northern-german traditions;)
