Mumbai in Swiss


We have Mumbai theme going on in the supermarket Globus.
They r selling indian food made by chefs from taj hotel in Mumbai, ( 20 of them have been flown here for this festival). We had very yummy mutton yesterday.
And they are selling very pretty indian stuff though very expensive. For more details but in german u can click here :

    The thing i found very interesting here is that they are selling
  • tiffin dabbas
    • ( as well saying that they are an integral part of mumbai life :-)
    Other thigs include
  • glass holder u see in hands of every chaiseller
  • pattal donas
  • chai kullads
    • ,
    and many more such interesting things.

    Hey Nidhi,

    interesting stuff n nice read! Lucky u! I never had the opportunity to had anything at the Taj back home;-)

    Bremen is also celebrating Asian Month in May so one can see Indian spices, chai,bindis,sarees,kurtaas etc being sold in Karstadt ...

    Guess India is becoming more n more famous here. Gud 4 us :-)
