Marianne's Trip to India
Marianne, a french friend of ours married with our very good Indian Friend, Ahmad, had gone to India for a 10 day trip for the very first time! I was waitingly so excitedly for her to come back n tell me all abt her trip. They came back 2days ago and Marianne just loooved India. In fact she told me that she was missing it.
She found Taj Mahal the most beautiful place, loved taking rides on Rickshaw and also tried Tonga (carriage drawn by horses). According to her India is a magical land where u can actaually have anything u can think of (for eg a chauffeur:-)). Also it was very interesting for her to get a suit stitched for her after getting her measurements done, which here in Europe of course is unimaginable as extremely expensive!..And she found Delhi haat (one of my fav places as well) extremely interesting n very nice!
Well now.. I also want to go to India soon :-(...feeling homesick :-(

Wow!...How exciting! Marianne's 1st trip to India!!! All the pictures are great! I can't decide which is my favorite one....she looks great in a sari...red suits her just wonderful! The picture of McDonald (and the vegetarian menu on the background) is funny!...but the picture of her little boy in the ethnic suit and holding a cricket bat...is priceless!
The snaps with the elephant and the camel...they just reinforce the people's idea of India...especially the ones who've not yet been to this 'exotic and magical' land! :)
