Weekend - drinking , pool n Raghu's visit
The weekend we had was very hectic but full of fun.
Beginning Friday we were invited by Murali for lovely dinner at his place, the dinner turned into a late night party with we ending up drinking n having cheesy jokes round till 2 .30, well we had been intelligent enough not to take mallaika with us as vivek wanted to drink but then around 2.30 no trams run in Basel so we ended up sleeping at Rejina n Sudip's place:-).
Saturday morning after a quick breakfast we came back home n just asked our friend from Bühl Germany if he was free n wd like to come n see Mallaika. He was luckily free n came over by lunchtime. We along with Raghu n Sadhus went to Laufen a small dreamy little place in Swiss. We saw very small waterfalls there had a walk around the sleepy little place, had tea at Kulturcafe a very nice old cafe. Check out some snaps in the above collage.
When we entered our village Muttenz we found that some carnival was also going on , we then went to have a look, heard some bands playing, saw everyone dressed up. I always wanted to get one of my snaps clicked with those horrible masks n yes i manage it this time, me n reji took up the masks n got our snaps clicked, the masks were so heavy n bulky dunno how people manage to wear them for hours in carnival and also play music! phew it does require practice.
Then we came back home and made dinner Reji made lovely prawns for us, n yes after dinner the evening was not yet over, we decided to go n play pool. I hv never ever played billiards so this was my first time but as i was with raghu n vivek they were xtra sweet n taught me how to hit the balls in the right direction. I had teamed up with raghu but vivek won. It was the first time i hd gone with Vivek to play pool n i was amazed to know that he plays it very well! in fact he used to hit them from front n they used to land up in the hole right behind, another amazing skill discovered. A funny incident was Raghu n vivek just told me to be careful with the Cue and not to hit the person behind me, n thats what i just did right after they had warned me i rammed it into poor guy behind me it was so embarrasing :-((..
Yeah n then on Sunday we had a holi celebration, and after holi after raghu had left we went down to see ur fren's sachin n abhi's new place for the first time. So u see all in all we had a great happening weekend, in fact in the morning vivek just didn't feel like getting up n going for work!
