Yet another lovely holi in Basel

Yesterday we again celberated holi with our friends. To know more about this festival please click on the link mentined in the previous post. We played holi at Solitude Park (hhhe n broke the Solitude there). It was so much fun and yes yet again Conny Indians were the focus of attention :-). In fact one of the persons even enquired if we were having a wedding party and many of them were passing by with amusing glances at us. N well as none of the indian festivals can be without food ( the very importatnt part of indian life) we had loads of goodies, in fact the entire Collage below is dedicated to it, w eate so much that we had to skip dinner :-). after eating n playing holi as it was a warm sunny day we went down to sit and enjoy at the River rhine, we sang songs, men drank whiskey (yeah whiskey in the afternoon - manner sind immer verrückt oder) and we threw so many stones in the river. after that we winded up the evening at Sadhu's place with Chai n thandai. Our friend Raghu from germany had come over to spend the weekend with us so he also njoyed with us, will post another post refarding the rest of the weekend! Have a nice Week guys.
