A long post after a loong time!

I know havn't written anything since past 2 weeks, well had not been keeping very busy but was doing something or the other,
Since i shifted down to swiss i do miss Mensa food, well most of you must be wondering what a strange person who likes canteen stuff, but yes it's true for me that soup n the varied types of salads which i cd enjoy daily seems to be missing at times, So one of our dear friends Navratna always tries to invite me once a month to mensa whenever they have some nice italian stuff to enjoy! Last month i had gone for cannelloni and last to last Friday went for Tortellini, Here's a snap for all of you of the entire gang working at Basel University who joined us for Tortellini.

Then on Saturday we were invited for Schi n Abhi's Housewarming party n how could i forget the first match for India for the World cup in Jamaica. Vivek spent most of the afternoon watching match and then had to be coaxed to go for the party. The party was great fun, we had lovely food, played some nice games and Vivek won a prize as well. I really like Sachin n Abhilasha's new home, it's been done up very tastefully and is really big with a nice big balcony so am looking forward to some nice grill parties up in their balcony! so here's a snap of me n viv all dressed up for the party, as i had loads of time at my hand with vivek busy with cricket, surprisingly i did a good job of makeup n got many lovely compliments esp for the eyemakeup!

Then coming down to this weekend. On Friday Vivek had invited his friends to come over for watching the third match of India. This match was watched using a beamer so my Living room got converted to a cricket watching lounge, these men began watching match at around 4.3o pm and then watched till 11 pm but alas India lost. so all of them were really feeling sorrry and sad and vivek told everyone to keep a 3 minute silence :-). I m not a cricket fan so i was enjoying with other not so cricket loving women so that the cricket lounge ws free for men to curse as they willed . Here are a few Snaps

then on Saturday for the first time this year we went down to Germany, I went down to Müller the shop for cosmetics which i really miss here, was a pleasure buying the products so very familiar to me, then went to Aldi too n picked up their lovely ice tea which u just get there. Then after having lunch there went straight to divya n anurag's place to help cooking for Navratna's bday party in the evening! then was another lovely bday party with all of us women dressed in indian suits :-) and we had golgappas and chaat papadi , the highlight of the menu!
after such hectic beginning of weekend, sunday was spent in lazing around n sleeping n just doing nothing, In fact today also i just dont feel like doing anything though it was the washing day so had to atleast do the laundry.
Well i have another 2 coming weekends to loook up to so am sure wd be back with some more exciting posts!
