Our Lovely Easter Trip!!

Actions speak louder than Words, so for a change this post has more photographs than words:-).

The first Collage describes our driving trip from Raghu's place to Hamburg/Bremen n back. The Snaps have been clicked during the journey.

Collage no. 2 describes what we did in Hamburg, beginning with Welcoming Sherry, to pumping luftmatrasse, to helping Priya put her wardrobe together, to bringing in the new Garden Furniture for the amazing grill party, to our visit to outside Airbus, to carry up the new sofa, to our yummy though a little burnt cake:-)
Collage no. 3 describes our night out in Hambug. Friday evening we had gone to the Reeperbahn a favorite tourist destinations, open 24 hours a day and dotted with cabarets, bars, nightclubs and casinos. The Reeperbahn hosts great entertainment, from Grosse Freiheit where the Beatles first played to fantastic cabarets and a great nightlife scene. People watching here is fun but it is a seedy area that definitely looks better after dark. We took a walk around then went to 2 pubs, danced a bit, drank a bit n saw Poledancing for the first time.

On Saturday we were invited by Conny to her horse farm in Hämelhausen.
Have never seen so many horses that too those huge german ones. Conny was so nice n gave each of us a short horseriding lesson. The worst part for me was getting up on the tall horse without any ladder or chair. One funny incident ws that they all managed to make me sit on the horse but i was sitting behind the saddle instead of in it ;). Thanx Conny for the lovely time!

Sunday was spent in traveling up north. More details are here , please click on blue balloons. In the evening we went to a famous sea food restaurant FisherHaus,in Hamburg.

Monday morning we had an amazing Brunch at an Indian restaurant in Hamburg n came down to Bremen. The evening was spent in bowling n playing pool. Sorry Priya, our team won.

The next collage shows some nice eating, cooking, dancing moments at Noopur n Vivek's at Bremen.

Tuesday we spent doing the tourist round of Bremen city and visiting Pub, Unluckily Priya n Noopur had to work that day, though Noopur managed to join us in the second half.
I guess we drank a lot during this trip- sherry, martini with bitter lemon, Vodka shots, wine, whisky, gin n of course Beer n ate a lot too- grill party at Priya's, chicken by Noopur, lamb by Vivek (mine), Seafood at Fisherhaus, Indian food including samosas, chole bhature, chicken tikka, chicken curry, chilli chicken, lamb curry n jalebis n milk cake at Indian restaurent in Hamburg n lovely food by Raghu on our way back.
A tip: Currently, Indian food festival is going on at Mc. Donalds in Germany, they have amazing chicken rolls called Fakir rolls, you gotta try these!

thanx to all our lovely friends for the wonderful wonderful time n the lovely gifts, am missing you guys already:-(.
