Weekend!!

As usual we had a nice weekend. This sartuday we had invited Viveks boss Martin and his wife Anita for dinner at our place. This was the first time they had home cooked indian food at someones place. They loved my daal, paalak paneer, chicken and even boondi waala raita so much that they had 2-3 helpings of everything. It was pleasure to see them enjoying amrakhand(recipe learnt from Rejina) and also our indian chai. We spent some wonderful 5 hrs talking about swiss and india and luckily Martin and Vivek didnt even once get down to talking about work:-).

Also yesterday was the last day of the Car exhibition AutoB asel 2006(http://www.auto-basel.ch) in Basel. So we went there n spent around 3 hrs ohhh and aaahing the wonderful ferraries, audis, mercedes, bmw's. porsches etc..etc..The best part was you could touch the car (which in indian Auto expo is seldom allowed) and also open the cars sit inside n have the feel of it. Even though i am not a great car enthusiast like vivek but it was great fun to see so many new models of the cars and also so many of those which we generally see in the movies..hopefully we might buy some S class Mercedes or ferrari once upon a time one fine day :-)..
